My name is Alyssa and I’ve been a nurse for a year. A few months ago I decided to make the transition from a med surg nurse to the operating room. I’ve been asked tons of times to explain what exactly a circulating nurse does in the operating room so this video is a general explanation of what goes on in a typical day in the OR as an OR nurse. This is a very broad overview, but I wanted to give people somewhat of an idea of what it’s like.
